It is rare to find a unique site. Endless fits that description. I cannot remember a website that looks like a chat application. I expect we will see a few copycats in the next few months.
Endless is a minimal website. It looks fantastic on desktop, but it looks even better on mobile.
But aesthetics can only get you so far. This is a well-thought-out site.
Endless’s website works because it is easy to follow.
I’m sure there is a psychological term for it, but I don’t know. Anyway, CURIOSITY “forces us” to read the content. It is hard to resist an open chat.
There are only three interactive elements:
- Subscribe now (highlighted)
- Chat
- Request quote
Endless doesn’t even have a navigation bar. The website’s goal is obvious. I think this clarity is what makes this website so effective. Most websites have too many options.
Halfway to the bottom, there is a small portfolio section. It is surprisingly barren. At first, I thought clicking on each image would resolve to a lightbox, and I was surprised when it didn’t.
However, I believe it works better this way. It keeps the website goals clearer. No distractions. You can either subscribe or not, but this is not a website you can browse “endlessly” without taking action.
Lastly, I love the FAQs. There is a chat button if you have more questions, but the most common queries are answered in a small section.
It is almost hidden. There is no need to clutter the website for the few people who’ll have more questions.
