Async

Async is an app that lets you send voice messages

I have a soft spot for websites that go straight to the point. I don’t want “clever” when looking at a website for the first time. I want “clear”.

Async does that perfectly.

The hero explains precisely what the app does and the next action to take. I would’ve added a text somewhere to explain that you can start for free as it is unclear, and the first thing I looked for was the pricing button at the top.

I feel Async made a mistake relying on a video to explain what an async is. I would’ve preferred text since it is only sometimes a good time to watch a video.

Surprisingly, they have thought about it for their app because you can listen to or read async messages.

Visual Design

I love Async because of its color palette. It is subtle but recognizable.

It has enough animations to keep the scroll exciting but not distracting.

I think the website is unnecessarily long - but I am nitpicking now.

Overall, I think this website works well because it explains what the app does and pushes you to sign up.
